Students face no immediate consequence for zoning out today. The exam is months away, so the cost of not paying attention is invisible. They put off learning, get overwhelmed at exam time, and fall back on what they already know. The exam exposes the gaps they never touched, and grades suffer.
The fix every teacher knows, and why it breaks
Every experienced teacher knows the answer: frequent, low-stakes tests on each topic, given soon after it's taught, while there's still time to recover. Done properly, at scale, it hits three walls.
- Marking. A teacher with 5 classes of 40 students marks 200 papers per test. Across 7 topics, that's 1,400 papers a term.
- Tracking. Keeping 1,400 topic results per term in your head or a spreadsheet isn't realistic.
- Personalising. Each student needs questions on their own weak topics. Writing a different test for every student, for every topic, is impossible by hand.

What Eduxal does

Each student gets their own test
Leading teachers of each subject write every question, each with its marking scheme. Our matching algorithm picks each student's questions from their weak and strong topics, so no two papers are the same.
