For Kenyan private and secondary schools
Every test marked. Every gap found.
Every student gets a different test, built from questions by leading subject teachers and matched to their weak topics. Eduxal marks the scanned papers and runs fees, M-Pesa, attendance and timetables too.

One test. Two hundred papers.
A teacher with five classes of forty marks 200 scripts after every test, then still has to work out what each student got wrong. Most of that effort never becomes a plan for the next lesson.
5 classes of 40 students is 200 scripts after every test.
With 7 tests a term at 3 minutes a script, one teacher marks 1,400 scripts, about 70 hours of marking every term.
-
Marking takes the planning time
The hours spent marking come straight out of preparing the next lesson.
-
One paper can't fit forty students
The same test for the whole class can't target each student's weak topics, and it's easy to copy.
-
Gaps stay hidden until exams
A weak topic in week three shows up in the end-of-term exam, when it is too late to fix.
A test for every student, marked in minutes
Eduxal builds the tests, marks the answers and plans the next round. Teachers stay in charge of every step.
- 1
Each student gets their own test
Leading teachers of each subject write every question, each with its marking scheme. Our matching algorithm picks each student's questions from their weak and strong topics, so no two papers are the same.
- 2
Print, answer on paper, scan
Print the class set and students answer in class, with no devices. Then feed the whole stack through your school's scanner or scanning photocopier. The phone app works too.
- 3
Marked against the marking scheme
The AI reads each handwritten answer and marks it against that question's marking scheme. Teachers can review and change any mark, so the final say is always theirs.
- 4
The next round targets the gaps
Each student's next CAT or assignment is built from what they still got wrong, until every weak area is covered.
Tested at over 98% marking accuracy on real Kenyan exam papers with handwritten answers. Teachers can change any mark. Ask us how we measured it
No two students get the same paper
No teacher has time to write a separate test for every student on every topic they teach. Eduxal does it every time, for the whole class.
-
Every weak area covered
Each paper is built from that student's own gaps, and keeps coming back to them until they're closed.
-
Copying stops working
The student at the next desk has different questions, so the only way to do well is to know the work.
-
CATs or assignments
Check one topic with a short CAT, or cover several topics over a week or two with an assignment.

The people behind Eduxal
A small team in Nairobi. Pilot schools talk to us directly, not to a support queue.

One of the founding students of a Nairobi school, Abdihakim taught himself to code, so he knows first-hand what it takes to master something hard. He leads Eduxal's direction, partnerships and engineering.

Why we built Eduxal
“I was not a bad student. … I always made myself the same promise: I would catch up later. … Later never came. … I revised what I was good at. The gaps I had accumulated, the actual weaknesses, I quietly avoided.”

Questions directors ask
Anything else? Ask us directly. We reply the same day.
Ask a question on WhatsAppDo students need phones, tablets or computers?
No. Students write their answers on paper, in class. Only teachers and school staff use the Eduxal app.
What equipment does the school need?
A scanner or scanning photocopier for the answer sheets, and a phone or computer for staff. The Eduxal phone app can scan papers too. The app runs on Android, Windows and Linux.
Who writes the questions?
Leading teachers of each subject write every question, and each one comes with a marking scheme. Our matching algorithm then picks questions for each student from their weak and strong topics, so every student gets a different paper.
How accurate is the marking, and who has the final say?
We tested it at over 98% marking accuracy on real Kenyan exam papers with handwritten answers. Teachers can review and change any mark, so the final say is always theirs. Ask us and we'll walk you through how we measured it.
Does it work for CBC and 8-4-4?
Yes. Eduxal supports both, so you can run junior and senior school classes and your remaining 8-4-4 classes in one place.
Can students copy from each other?
Copying doesn't help, because every student gets a different paper. Eduxal helps teachers set and mark tests; every answer on the paper is the student's own.
What else does Eduxal do besides marking?
Fees and invoices, M-Pesa payments matched to the right student, attendance, timetables, and roles and permissions, with separate views for directors, teachers and parents.
How do we join the 2026 pilot?
